Employers want wellness programs to show results, cost savings

A wellness program can help a company save money and improve morale, but consultant Suzi Lemen told a wellness conference in Jacksonville, Fla., that the challenge can be finding someone to take the lead and make it a priority. Emma Maurer of St. Vincent's HealthWorks said employers are looking long-term and want to see measurable results linked to cost savings from wellness programs.
