How ad skipping is raising engagement rates

Consumers who use Skip Ad technology from Minteye to swipe past a promotion actually end up visiting the advertiser's site at a rate more than four times as high as those who watch the ad, according to the company. Users can still interact with the message once it is skipped, leading to a 3.5% click-thru rate for the company, much higher than the industry norm of 0.6%.
