Hybrid programs blend high school, community college, work

Schools offering students a mixture of high school, community college and work experience are cropping up in various cities, from New York City to San Antonio to Los Angeles. The U.S. Department of Education and the Labor Department have awarded $107 million to such programs under Youth CareerConnect grants.
