Katrina forces airlines to cancel flights; airports halt operations

Several airports stopped operating Monday, and airlines canceled flights as Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast. United Airlines, American Airlines and Continental Airlines were among the carriers canceling flights. Airlines expect delays and cancellations related to the storm to continue through the week.
