New York's Metropolitan Opera is embarking on just its second advertising campaign in its 123-year history, with a $500,000 outdoor buy that will promote the upcoming production of "Madama Butterfly." The advertising is one part of a coordinated push to make opera less intimidating and more appealing to non-aficionados.
