WHO, IMIA to partner, promote health IT

A shortage of health IT workers is limiting health care facilities' abilities to develop e-health programs, experts say. The International Medical Informatics Association and the World Health Organization plan to collaborate to ease this problem by promoting the sharing of intellectual property and through the Global Observatory for eHealth, a clearinghouse for best practices.
