Chlorophyll study could boost development of algae-based biofuels

Researchers from Australia and Germany may have found a new form of chlorophyll from underwater colonies of cyanobacteria collected in Australia's Shark Bay. This report says that scientists hope this chlorophyll could bring the development of oil-producing algae strains that utilize a wider portion of the light spectrum.
