DISH Network's Tailgater lets you take TV to go

DISH Network's new Tailgater device, which combines the properties of an HDTV, a satellite dish and a tuner for the TV watcher on the move, is best suited to campers and RVs, Mark Hachman writes. The Tailgater needs a 110-volt power connection but requires no alignment -- a dish antenna inside the housing finds the correct signal. The model's $350 price tag substantially undercuts an $899 model from Wineguard, Hachman notes.
