Report: Tricare subject to sequestration cuts

Congress would have to find $3 billion in funding from other Defense Department programs to fully insulate Tricare from the effects of sequestration cuts, according to a new report from the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments. Veterans’ medical care has already received an exemption from the looming cuts by order of the White House.
