Mary Beth Hertz, a K-8 technology teacher, recently wrote to a friend with some advice for new technology coaches. Hertz, who shares those tips in this blog post, recommends the coach's schedule be well-defined, which can be challenging, she notes, and suggests coaches make listening a priority. Hertz writes that coaches also should make a plan for action -- which may or may not even include technology. She adds that coaches should remember that learning comes first, not the tools.
