Dishwasher cooking appeals to eco-friendly cooks

Dishwasher cooking became popular in the 1980s when home cooks ran the machine without soap to poach fish. Italian author Lisa Casali's latest cookbook aims to shows young, eco-friendly home cooks how to whip up couscous and vegetables by placing them in airtight containers that can be cooked while their other dishes are being washed.
