It's mind over matter as Seattle researchers complete first "mind meld"

Researchers at the University of Washington in Seattle have gone where no scientists have gone before, successfully moving the hand of a test subject by using someone else's brain waves in a feat that is being described as the first-ever "mind meld." "The Internet was a way to connect computers, and now it can be a way to connect brains," said Andrea Stocco of the university's Institute for Learning & Brain Sciences. "We want to take the knowledge of a brain and transmit it directly from brain to brain."
