More schools in Canada turn to tablets as learning tools

While the effect of tablet computers in the classroom is still being assessed, a number of schools in Canada are integrating the devices into lessons -- hoping to increase student engagement. However, even as researchers debate the merits of tablets and other technology in the classroom, teachers say they are enthusiastic, but they also emphasise the importance of providing adequate training in using the devices.
