Qantas sells defense business to Northrop Grumman

Northrop Grumman is buying Qantas Defense Services, the military business unit for Qantas Airlines, in a deal whose terms were not disclosed. The Australian carrier's defense unit supports such customers as the Royal Australian air force and services navy patrol and government planes. "QDS complements our current integrated logistics and modernization efforts and advances our international strategy," said Northrop CEO Wes Bush.
