Some employers to provide only CDHPs

Twenty-two percent of employers surveyed by the National Business Group on Health said they plan to offer only a high-deductible consumer-driven health plan next year. Some are switching to the plans, which are less expensive to provide than traditional coverage, to avoid a new tax on plans that cost more than $10,200 for individuals or $27,500 for families, NBGH President and CEO Helen Darling said.
