Thai Airways closer to adding flight connectivity

A National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission panel voted to let Thai Airways offer Wi-Fi on flights. "Now Thai is in the process of applying for a service-provider license so it can offer Wi-Fi on its planes," said Jesada Sivarak, an NBTC representative, adding that the NBTC still has to decide if the airline can provide on-board mobile phone service.
