U.K. schools tap M2M to broaden student education

Educators in the U.K. are turning to machine-to-machine technology to boost child learning capabilities and give students a taste of their digital future through a new consortium dedicated to advancing the "Internet of School Things." The group, which goes by the moniker DISTANCE, is funded by the U.K.'s Technology Strategy Board and will help schools integrate cloud-based connected technology into their educational models.
