Brands are finding new ways to integrate the digital potential of Twitter with in-person marketing, particularly through the use of hashtags and calls to action. Some musicians used Twitter to broadcast real-time contests for summer concertgoers, and brands such as Best Buy and Starbucks recently used Twitter to post video of executives taking the viral ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
