Masimo gains OK for infant hemoglobin monitor in Europe, Japan

Masimo has received approval to market its rainbow DCI-mini system in Europe and Japan, and is preparing for a limited commercial release of the product. The device, which monitors hemoglobin levels in small children and infants in a noninvasive manner, is the first of its type approved for use on children weighing less than 22 pounds.
