British computer study has gender gap implications

Children who used computers for schoolwork earned better standardized test grades, while those who played computer games did much worse, finds a new study by researchers at Leeds and Sheffield universities. Since boys spend much more time than girls playing computer games, researchers said their findings had implications for the gender achievement gap.
