Boots plans to accelerate expansion in Thailand

UK-based Boots Retail (Thailand) Limited is planning to increase its number of outlets in Thailand to as many as 300 over the next several years. Political turmoil in Thailand has not hindered Boots' enthusiasm for the market, according to Paul Millar, managing director of the company. "We are confident in the potential of Thailand, because Boots has been established in this market for 13 years, so that we understand the behaviours of local consumers quite well," he said.
