Chains aim to avoid high-calorie sticker shock

Restaurant chains aren't waiting for the FDA to finalize a plan for implementing calorie-posting requirements established under a new federal law. Many have been working to create new dishes and tweak existing favorites to come in at lower calorie counts. Others -- including Mad Greens, Mixt Greens and Burger King -- have created online calculators that let health-conscious consumers plan ahead.
