Portland school meals get fresh food, homemade focus

The nutrition team for Portland, Ore., schools has overhauled the menu so students this fall will see more locally sourced, hand-assembled, fresh-food meals. The biggest changes are eliminating ranch dressing and using real-meat chicken rather than chicken that was shredded, pressed and molded.
