Search buyers say Bing shows potential in first year

Microsoft's Bing, which in its first year has boosted its share of search from 8% or 9% to 12% or 13%, compared with Google's 65%, is off to a promising start, according to search buyers. "If I'm [Microsoft CEO] Steve Ballmer, I'm looking at Bing's share and saying, 'Hey, it's been a really good year,' " said David Karnstedt, president-CEO of Efficient Frontier.
