Report: Preventive health, wellness could save $1.9 trillion

Preventive health care that includes workplace wellness programs could save the U.S. up to $1.9 trillion per year in costs, not counting gains in productivity or quality of life, according to a report by the Incentive Research Foundation. The study also found corporate wellness plans can save more than $3 for every $1 spent.
