Wellness program incentives must comply with 2 key rules

More companies use incentives to get employees to participate in wellness programs, but there are some rules these plans must follow. Incentives or penalties cannot be more than 20% of the total cost of employee health coverage and workers who cannot earn incentives or avoid penalties because of health issues must be given an alternate way to do so.
