Better diet quality seen with positive views on healthy eating

People who shopped at high-cost supermarkets showed better diet quality than did those who shopped at cheaper establishments, a study indicates. However, consumers who had positive perceptions of healthy-eating habits showed higher diet quality regardless of where they did their shopping, researchers said. The findings will appear in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
