Better diet quality seen with positive views on healthy eating

People who shopped at high-cost supermarkets showed better diet quality than those who shopped at cheaper establishments, a study indicated. However, consumers who had positive perceptions of healthy eating habits showed high diet quality regardless of where they did their shopping, researchers said. The findings appear in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
