Calif. police department plans to expand aerial program with third helicopter

Fontana, Calif., Police Chief Rod Jones is asking the City Council to approve the purchase of a Robinson R-66 helicopter. Jones says the addition of a third helicopter will allow the city's aerial policing program to be expanded from five to seven days per week as well as aid fire departments in partner cities with aerial reconnaissance.
