Competition challenges students to develop solutions to world hunger

The Howard G. Buffett Foundation's 40 Chances Challenges program is calling on students in Omaha, Neb., to come up with real-world answers to food shortages in their community and beyond. The challenge is the first step toward participation in the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship's 2013 World Series of Innovation, which offers prize money and recognition for the top student teams.
