Three travel agencies face fines imposed by the Transportation Department for violating codeshare disclosure regulations. Liberty Travel was issued a $100,000 fine, while AAA Mid-Atlantic and STA Travel were ordered to pay $40,000 each. "When passengers buy an airline ticket, they have a right to know which airline will be operating their flight. We will continue to make sure that all companies selling air transportation are transparent with consumers and comply with our codeshare disclosure rules," Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx said.
