Geologists seek places to stash captured carbon

Researchers are examining geological features to identify structures that could one day be used to store carbon deep beneath the Earth's surface. "It's almost like the gas industry in reverse," says researcher Richard Aldous. "With the gas industry, we take gas out of the ground ... while carbon storage works by capturing the carbon and putting it back underground."
