N.C. schools team up with businesses to give students work experience

Durham Public Schools and the city's Office of Economic and Workforce Development in North Carolina are working to find ways for ambitious students to get real-world experience with employers, such as technology company Sensus. Rick Sheldahl, director of career-technical education at the school district, says he approaches companies with the idea that giving students opportunities now can make the workforce stronger in the near future.
