Pa. school district to focus on deeper understanding of math

Students in a Pennsylvania school district will be asked to justify their answers and dig deeper into math concepts this school year under a new curriculum. The district's adoption of Go Math! is intended to align teaching with new, more rigorous math standards. Students will use workbooks that include space for them to solve problems visually and activities dedicated to math vocabulary.
