Processing deviation prompts recall of beef jerky products in U.S.

The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service said that around 109 pounds of beef jerky products have been recalled by Lone Star Western Beef because they were processed at the wrong temperature. The recall covers beef jerky in 1-, 3- and 16-ounce sizes that were produced Aug. 12 and distributed in north-central West Virginia.
