Rep. Shuster urges investment in U.S. transportation infrastructure

The competitiveness of the U.S. economy in the global marketplace partly depends on a well-developed and properly maintained transportation infrastructure network, said House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Bill Shuster, R-Pa. Teaching new members of Congress and the general public about the importance of transportation investments should be a priority, Shuster said during a keynote speech at the annual meeting of Build Up Greater Cleveland.
