Sales of small appliances jump on U.S. market

Sales of small kitchen appliances grew by 15% in the first half of 2013 as compared to last year, reaching $2.5 billion in overall sales on the U.S. market, according to new data from The NPD Group. Online purchases accounted for 19% of all sales, a jump of 23% over the first half of 2012.
