Study: Increased fruit intake curbs diabetes risk

A study on the website of BMJ indicates that each additional three servings of whole fruit consumed per week was associated with a 2% to 26% reduced risk of type 2 diabetes. Researchers said that while a causal relationship was not observed, the findings support guidelines that recommend eating whole fruits to prevent diabetes.
