Survey data show half of Va. employers offer wellness plans

Employers in Mid-Atlantic states are seeing higher health costs, but survey data show continued investment in wellness programs, especially with new incentives through the Affordable Care Act. Scott Benefit Services survey data showed more than half of employers in Virginia offered a wellness program, with 68% of them doing so to improve employee health, morale and productivity.
