Home schoolers claim parents have final say over children's education

Two landmark cases in Pennsylvania pit home schooling families' claims to be exempt from monitoring on the grounds of religious freedom against the state's insistence it should oversee children's education. Should the plaintiffs win, the traditional concept of education as a shared responsibility between parents and the state will probably be fine-tuned.
