Recycled concrete piles up to savings for builders

Even the broken concrete and asphalt that is left behind from demolished buildings is now finding reuse. In one project in Virginia, broken concrete was recycled, not only saving the managers the cost of hauling the concrete away, but freeing the material for use in new construction.
