"Better" burger pays off for Hardee's

Hardee's decision to offer thicker, quality burgers that look appealing and invest in marketing them has helped energize the brand and boost same-store sales, Hardee's officials say. The chain is experimenting with new sauces to keep the Thickburger line fresh and also is improving other areas of the menu, including thicker slices of bacon on breakfast selections.
