DOD to require company plants to be secured against terrorists

The Pentagon will soon require defense companies to secure their plants against terrorists in order to receive military contracts. Assistant Defense Secretary for Homeland Defense Paul McHale said the Defense Department will include the requirement in contracts with firms whose factories are essential to the ability of the U.S. to fight a war.
