Poll: Schools should teach creationism, evolution

Nearly two-thirds of respondents said public schools should teach creationism alongside evolution when teaching about the origins of life, according to a poll by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life and the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press. Senior Pew Forum Fellow John Green said it appeared most Americans, even those who favor Darwin's theories, see exposing students to both approaches as a pragmatic compromise.
