Le Meridien turns to art for boutique uniqueness

Big chain hotels such as Le Meridien are scrambling to create their own sophisticated styles in the wake of competition from stylish and trendy boutique hotels. Chains including Hyatt, InterContinental and Starwood are all rolling out their own boutique brands, and Le Meridien is following suit by working with local museums to make the chain a destination for art enthusiasts.
