Survey: How do online experiences change consumers' expectations?

Consumers' expectations are rising along with the amount of multichannel retailing options, including in-store, online and mobile. Sixty-five percent of U.S. consumers expect to be able to change or cancel an order via any channel they want, regardless of how the order was placed, a survey found. Shipping notifications and order fulfillment play a valuable role in the consumer's online experience, according to 76% of those surveyed.
