Digital pens can record class, convert notes to documents

"Smart" digital pens may soon boost students' note-taking speed and accuracy by digitizing handwriting and recording audio as notes are taken. "It records everything that's being said as you write, synchronizing what you write," said one Livescribe science adviser. One of these pens may be able to record as many as 50 pages of notes with corresponding audio; the pens can also convert notes to word-processing format.
