Educators say school for grades 7 to 12 eases student transitions

In Canada, Ottawa officials are opening the district's first school combining grades 7 to 12, and educators expect to save money and improve student achievement. One superintendent says that the school's setup will help transition students from eighth grade to ninth and allow for more peer mentoring and teacher collaboration.
