Filing by Discovery Communications raises e-book questions

Discovery Communications appears to be preparing to enter the e-book market. According to a filing in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Discovery has applied for a patent on an "electronic book having electronic commerce features." The company previously filed a lawsuit against Amazon over the Kindle, claiming it infringes on an e-book patent held by Discovery.
