Maine senator may be key to health care bill vote

Democratic lawmakers are negotiating with Sen. Olympia J. Snowe, R-Maine, in order to win her support for health care reform legislation. Snowe has been one of the few Republicans to show interest in the proposed public insurance option, with the condition that the program will be implemented only if private health insurers don't make coverage more affordable.
